Step into The Atlantic and there’s an unmistakable sense of occasion. The room has the warmth and energy of a classic brasserie, the clink of glasses, cocktails being shaken at the bar, the hum of conversation and, on live music evenings, the sound of jazz filling the room.

At its heart is our 1 AA Rosette kitchen, where the food is rooted in the great traditions of French cooking. Think oysters and fruits de mer, French onion soup, beautifully cooked steaks and timeless brasserie classics, served with proper sauces, good wine and no unnecessary fuss.

Then there’s la spécialité de la maison; our Poulet Rôti. Slowly turning over the charcoal-fired rotisserie, golden and crisp on the outside and beautifully succulent within, it has become something of an Atlantic signature.

The setting has a story of its own. The Atlantic takes its inspiration from the original restaurant that opened here in 1938, when this historic building was home to the Anchor Line. Today, we carry that spirit forward; combining old-school glamour with the warmth and informality of a great neighbourhood brasserie.
